The Baldwin County Virtual School Chapter of The National Honor Society will induct new members each Fall and Spring. Students who have maintained an unweighted 3.50 GPA and exemplify the pillars of the National Honor Society are eligible for membership.  Students who meet initial eligibility will receive a letter inviting them to apply for membership by completing a Candidate’s Form.  

Initial Eligibility: Per the National NHS Constitution, students must have completed one (1) full semester at BCVS before becoming eligible to be inducted into the Baldwin County Virtual School Chapter of NHS. Students in Grades 11-12 must have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.50.  

NHS Pillars: 

- Scholarship: a dedicated commitment to academic success and lifelong learning

- Service: the selfless giving to meet the needs of others

- Leadership: being a positive influence while taking initiative and inspiring others

- Character: maintaining integrity, honesty, responsibility, and ethical behavior

If you wish to be considered for membership in National Honor Society, you should begin the process now.  In addition to maintaining a strong GPA, you should start volunteering for leadership opportunities and participating in school/community activities.
